These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website www.thereconpros.com and any services provided by The Recon Pros (“we,” “us,” or “our”), including paint correction, coatings, auto detailing, training courses, and the membership portal. By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Recon Pros is a paint correction, coatings, and detailing business based at 16882 Gothard St Unit E, Huntington Beach, CA 92647. Founded and led by Mel Craig.

2. Use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to:

• Copy, scrape, or reproduce site content without our written permission.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the site’s source code.
• Interfere with the site’s operation or security.
• Submit false or misleading information through any form.
• Use the site to harass, defame, or harm anyone.

3. Quotes, bookings & services

• Quotes shared by phone, text, or form are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing is confirmed in person after we inspect the vehicle.
• Booking an appointment is a request — your slot is confirmed when we reply to confirm time and pricing.
• You agree to disclose any prior paint, body, or detailing work done to the vehicle (including repaints, fillers, or non-factory coatings). Undisclosed work may affect results and pricing.
• Cancellations and reschedules should be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

4. Service results & expectations

Paint correction, coatings, and detailing are skilled trades. While we work to the highest standard, results depend on the condition of the paint, prior work, and the chosen package. Multi-stage correction reduces but cannot eliminate every defect without removing more paint than is safe. We’ll always be honest with you about what your specific car can achieve.

Coating warranties (including Revivify) are provided by the coating manufacturer under their stated terms. Maintenance requirements must be followed to keep any warranty valid.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept the payment methods displayed at the shop or noted on your invoice. Membership and training purchases are subject to the pricing shown at checkout and the specific terms of that program.

6. Training, school & membership

• Training content (videos, materials, downloads) is licensed for your personal use. You may not share login credentials, redistribute content, or use it to train competing courses.
• Memberships renew automatically on the stated billing cycle until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us — access continues to the end of the paid period.
• Refunds for digital training and membership content are offered at our discretion within 7 days of purchase if you have not consumed substantial content.

7. Revivify installer program

The Revivify installer program is offered in partnership with Revivify America. Acceptance, pricing, and certification are subject to additional terms presented during the application process. Use of the Revivify name and marks is governed by the Revivify brand guidelines.

8. Intellectual property

All site content — including text, photography, video, logos, and the “Recon Pros” name — is owned by The Recon Pros or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not use it without prior written permission.

9. User submissions

If you submit photos, reviews, or testimonials to us, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and share them in marketing, case studies, and social content, with attribution where reasonable. You confirm you have the right to grant that license.

10. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Recon Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit or revenue, arising from your use of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or a specific service will not exceed the amount you paid us for that service in the prior twelve months.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold The Recon Pros, its owners, employees, and partners harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your misuse of the site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the site after the update means you accept the revised Terms.
